Combining Specialist Surveys and Project Management
This is the most comprehensive report form previously known as a Structural Survey and comprises a tailored report of visible and potential problems within a property. Generally speaking the report is designed for larger, old or unique properties, or buildings which are in an obvious state of disrepair and does not usually include a valuation unless by separate negotiation. This report is suitable for most residential and commercial buildings.
This is a pro-forma report form drawn up by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors which has become the most popular with buyers. The report is more concise although covers issues relating to the location of the property, provides a valuation and gives an overall opinion with a description and condition of each element of the property and colour coded condition ratings.
We are appointed valuers to some banks and are consultants to a large banking group, but for individual clients we can provide valuations for Purchase, Sale or rental. Development, Matrimonial, Probate, Taxation, Compensation & Expert Witness. All valuations are carried out by RICS Registered Valuers, and we are able to provide valuations for most residential and commercial properties.
In most instances, we are instructed as project managers to take the scheme from start to finish. In the past we have also been commissioned to work with other professionals (such as Interior Designers) on high specification projects where we have overall responsibility making sure all structural work is carried out correctly and to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector. We take a hands-on and pro-active approach to our building contracts.
